Alternative to mixing protein power with milk?

I've gone for Isolate protein this time around (lower in lactose, other powers have made me gassy), although there still seems to be an issue with the milk I mix it with. So my options are to change milk (I currently use Cows whole milk) to something with less lactose or use something other then milk.

Now I can't imagine banana flavoured powder mixed with water will taste good so what's my options?

Thanks

When I used to gulp down protein shakes, I used organic unsweetened soymilk when I wanted something other than water.

Soymilk is a good option, and you can also use the lactose free milks, like Lactaid or Dairy Ease. They taste a little sweeter than regular milk because the lactose is already broken down, so they take a little getting used to.

Dairy Ease is what I drink on a daily basis (it's cheaper than Lactaid).

Haha i know what you mean, but give it a go

I started using water with mine and it wasn't actually as bad as i was expecting... if you just gulp it down and 'pretend' there's milk in there and not water - it's not so bad lol
