the reason for the rebound gain after excessive weight loss is that too many ppl take it off too fast by starving themselves. they then lose
muscle tissue which lowers their metabolism, meaning they gain weight on
fewer calories.
since you're exercising and so on, the opposite will be true: you'll need MORE calories to sustain your weight.
the first time i went from 220/size 24 to 125/size 7 (i'm 5'2"), i did it in 9 months on a 750-calorie diet supervised by a doctor because i gained weight at 1200. when i weighed about 155, i got into bodybuilding and after that, i HAD to eat more. it got so bad that when i was 125 pounds, i had to eat 3500 calories a day to hold it there and not plummet down to 115 within a couple of weeks. the guy training me needed 4500 - 4800 calories a day to support his 185lb mass (5'8"). he actually had to get up at 2am to cook a full dinner-type meal with meat, potatos, etc before going back to sleep. in his first competition, he took "most ripped" in the master's division.
you may find yourself eating more because you have more metabolically active tissue to support. if you don't feed it, you'll lose it and you won't experience any gains.
