Everything is a matter of balance.

You need to be sure that you're ingesting 1) the right amount of food to provide your body with the necessary amount of energy to fuel your daily activity, AND 2) the proper reconstructive nutrition required to keep the regeneration process moving forward. Whether or not you're actively working towards building muscle, your tissue is constanty being replaced. Even if not involved in a program of resistance training to build larger muscles, you must consume 'X' amount of protein just to maintain what you now have.

In the process of losing fat, you want to do everything that you can to guard against losing your valuable muscle. As you lose muscle in an effort to "lose weight" you'll sacrifice the potency of your metabolism. As muscle-loss occurs, your metabolism slows—as your metabolism slows, your fat-loss efficiency drops.

So ... if you don't have animal products in your diet, you'll need to ensure that you're getting enough protein by consuming alternative foods. Using quality protein powder is one way to make up the difference and maintain proper balance in your nutrition plan.

You can get adequate protein in a diet based on rice and soy. Juk can be good, as are some of the rice dishes that I have heard of with beans, chestnuts, and other goodies. I don't know the proper names, but most anything with soy beans in it is going to be good - soy protein is high quality.

Fat loss is, first and foremost, about diet control. Strength exercise (weightlifting) helps you lose fat and keep your muscle. This is more important than the treadmill or stationary bike for fat loss.
Who was talking about raw fish in Korea?

I prefer the japenese cuisine personally. I could eat sushi and other japenese foods all day.

Well I found out that chicken breast isn't too popular part in a chicken here in Korea. So it should be pretty cheap. Found a cheap and healthy protein Well I'm gonna start taking some thermogen for some fat burning boost. I was wondering if I should also be taking creatine for my work out. When should i be taking it if i do?
