Maurer hit on a good point, "if you're trying to bulk."
What are your goals? Cutting? Bulking?
Any fast-food mexican place, I think bean burritos are the best.
At Subway, I usually get wheat bread, but honey-oat bread gives you more fiber. Get lean meat. I usually get the Club, but
chicken breast or turkey are always good options. Have them load it up with good veggies.
At McDonalds, you can always get a salad too. Many fast-food places now have salads. I stay away from everything else at McDonalds. Oh how I miss those quarter pounders with cheese though!!
I stay away from chili because most people or places make do not make it with lean beef. They usually get the fat-laden beef.
You must have missed my pizza post. Get a small thin crust veggie pizza with little or no cheese and get ham on it for protein. Thin crust reduces the calories dramatically.
Chinese buffets always have a salad bar and the one I go to also has
grilled chicken. Their soup will have an awful lot of sodium in it, but that doesn't mean you can't have any. Just make an adequate allowance for sodium in your overall intake for the day.
There are usually pretty healthy options where-ever you go. You just have to look for them. But I grant you, some places just won't have any decent options.
