Question

Bizarre, sudden Whey intolerance?

I've taken Whey protein for a few years with no problems. I mix in a little soy protein with it as well.

However, the past few weeks I've been getting HUGE stomach aches after taking it... no diarrhea...

I have NO problem with milk or other dairy.

I did notice that the problem appeared after I had taken NSAIDs (Naproxen) for 1 month for a swollen knee because the NSAIDS kind of tore my stomach up... but I had problems eating anything after that... but I can now eat all foods fine without problem as the stomach has healed... except for the whey/soy protein drink! It puts me on the floor in pain.

Again, I know many people have a problems with whey due to dairy intolerance, but I'm fine with dairy!!!

Any ideas on what's up!?

Lance

Any change of manufacturer and are you able to access another whey protein nutrient source?

Did you try a new brand? Or does your old brand say, New and Improved?

If not, try a new brand.

Or maybe you're tummy is not 100% healed yet....
