can I still increase in strength without having to eat alot??

hi, since I have a change in goals now I've been more motivated lately to build more strength in all my lifts. Question is though, can I build alot of strength without building muscle and getting bulky in the process?Do I have to eat alot to see increase in strength, or can I get by with a proper workout routine??

There is definitely a minimum of calories that need to be consumed in order for a particular strength to be realized. There is no need to over-eat to propell yourself to your next strength level, but you do need to eat enough. Now, determining what is enough for YOU, is what you'll have to figure out using trial and error.

Obviously, if you are not seeing your weight lifted increasing then you're not eating enough or lacking in some other area of recovery. So, continue to gradually raise your calories little by little until you see your lifts increasing. Once you establish this, it's just a matter of keeping your intensity up and adding in more calories little by little along the way in order to keep the strength gains coming.

If you're healthy right now and eat a heathy diet you will gain strength just by working out regularly. If you want fast gains and size then you'll need to up your food intake. I eat a regular diet and I'm not looking for sudden gains, steady progress is what I get and my size stays relatively low.
