Carbs/Prot/Fat Breakdown

How much should each of these count towards our daily allowance?
Thanks-

Stats

5'10"
164 lbs
10-12% BF rough guess

I want to gain strength but not put on a large amount of mass. I would like to be around 170-175 with a nice build.

My girlfriend is also going to watch what she eats.
Her Stats
5'7"
125 lbs
?? BF

She is in good shape but doesn't get the right foods. She also lifts with me.

Thanks

I would try a 40% Pro, 40% Carb, 20% Fats diet and see how that works for you.

Try this calculator for a starting point of how much you should eat (The general consensus is start about 2800-3000 and go from there)

That calculator is not very accurate because it doesn't take you BF% into account.

Okay, so I've never calculated this correctly judging by this equation. I've just been going for over 3000 calories, and getting roughly 300c/200p/100f. But, if I calculate out a 40%c/40%p/20%f diet, I need 320c/320p/71f, right? I guess my ratio could be different, cuz my stats aren't this guy's... but if that's the case, here's my stats and you tell me whatcha think, eh? Thanx. Jakanden? Cursor? Anybody? Judging by the calculator on that link above, I need to add 200 - 400 cals, and I'm guessing it's all in protein.

6'1"
175 lbs
19% bf
Goal - add 15 pounds lean muscle
Daily diet average 300c/200p/100f - 3000 cals

If you want to get stronger, diet is important, but so are the lifts you are doing. Do these exercises in a split of your choosing:

Power Clean (from the floor, blocks or hang)
Power Snatch (see clean)
High Pulls (see clean)
Squat (box, front, back, overhead)
Deadlift
Bench
SLDL/Good Morning
Push Press/Military press
Turkish Getups

Wolfnatas:
Your caloric target will also need to be a function of your workout volume and intensity. 3000 would not be a bad starting point (if wrong, you'll know before very long). Monitor your body composition and see how it responds to the fuel, given a quality workout schedule. I'd vote for 313p 250c 83f (33%p 42%c 25%f).

Wouldnt that be 313c 250p 83f if its a 42%C, 33%p, 25%F split =)
