Changed my diet...

Hi all,

I posted my diet some time ago to hopefully lose the remaining body fat i had.
I was doing Cardio 5 times a week prior to my dieting posting and lost over 2 stone.
Once i posted my diet i changed to 3 day weights and 3 days cardio in an attempt to build muscle. That worked and i've built some good muscle!
but the fat remains. My previous diet mainly consisted of 6 meals a day at 2-3 hour intervals.
i was eating oatmeal, chicken, brocolli, mixed vegtables, low fat cottage cheese etc etc.
Obviously this diet didnt work for some reason i beleive the rough calories a day was 1800.

so i've changed my objective to losing fat over building muscle for now and this is my new diet which i prefer taste wise and also exercise plan.

6:15am protien shake
6:30am 1 hour cardio workout
8am oatmeal
10am 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 pieces of fruit
12:30pm chicken in whole meal pitta
3pm (not sure) ??
5pm beef/chicken in whole meal pitta
6:30pm workout (weights or cardio)
8pm protein shake?

this diet is similar to before but i cut down the bulk of the veg which i didnt like. I also take MSN, Barley wheat grass, Vit C, Flax and cod liver oil daily.

My thoughts are to continue the weights 3 nights a week but add cardio to 3 other nights still and add in 5 hours of morning cardio...

i know what everyones going to say 'too much cardio' but i do enjoy it and have seen great benefits from it. i dont think i can lose fat just with diets and weights? well i could but i'd have to starve!

any comments welcome...

GraemeK, did you say you're gonna do 5 hours of morning cardio for one morning, or 5 hours for the whole week? Well, just keep working on your diet, cardio, and weights. Keep it up, and you will get the results, it just takes time.
