Checkout my journal

I have kind of hit a plateau . Have'nt lost any scale weight almost a month and a half. I have been keeping my calories between 1500-1900 a day, eating all clean foods, doing HIIT every single day, lifting (doing MAX-OT).. could someone checkout my journal and give me some tips?. My main goal is losing the rest of this belly flab but it is going sooo slowly, I don't want to reduce my calories anymore because I do not want to lose muscle.

link to my journal:

if you want to see my workout journal it is in the diet and joural section on this board.

stats: 5'9 , 162lbs

also been reading up on the Keto diet but I just can't stomache the thought of eating all that fat..

You are defenitly not eating enough for your height and weight. I'm a girl, 120lbs, 5'2 and I eat more than you. You are probably slowing down your metabolisme by not eating enough. Also, if you've been doing the same workout for a while now, change it up a little. HIIT every day + weights is crazy! 3 cardio sessions and 3 weights sessions should be enough. Maybe you are overtraining.

The belly flab will be the last to go. Just continue lifting, do moderate cardio (2-3 times a week) on different days than lifting preferably and re-evaluate your diet because for a 160lbs guy 1500 cals is a starvation diet!

edit: It would also do you alot of good to have a cheat day to reset your metabolism.

Agreed! After 11 weeks of very clean proper nutrition, I stuffed my face last weekend (literally doubled/ trebled usual calorific intake), eating everything in sight and didn't gain a pound (purely a bonus. The aim was shock/ resisting adaption).

A body, which has been eating moderate amounts of natural food for months on end, will receive a massive shock to the system with such an unpredictable change and helps to break you out of those weight loss plateau (providing you resume normal dieting fairly quickly).

Good way to reset the metabolism IMHO aswell.

After eating strictly clean for god knows how long, and being stuck on a plateau, I stuffed my face on Sunday and skipped the gym for the first time in months.

I dreaded the scale on Tuesday. I lost a pound. I've decided I should have a moderate cheating episode once a month.
