Im quite a fan of herbal detoxes. I also notice the cleaner and healthier ones diet is the less of an impact they make negating their need. However if you are not great now or previously diet wise......

Wouldn't it be better not to eat crap in the first place? You can't just eat whatever crap you want and then "detox" it out.

detox yourself from the crap thats in our water, the elements we breathe into our lungs, anything accidently swallowed that went undetected, eating too much protien which can cause nitrogen buildup or whatever it does, if its not all used up in glycosis or whatever its called.

Fasting is also a good way to reset your metabolism, and reset alot of things in your body.

Interesting way of putting it westside... I do feel like I "reset" my body when I fast.

ditto... I dont even plan... I do it about once a month or two... Sometimes I just feel completely stuffed from eating 5-7 meals a day for weeks on end, I just need a break, and I can just feel it that day i wake up, im completely stuffed even though I havent ate yet, im gonna drink a shake, and a bunch of water for the rest of day until later that nite...

I can definately say, it dont feel anabolic, but it Definately does not feel catabolic in any way either, at least for me, probably because of how well fed I am and how little I do it.
