College student needs some meal advice

Alright guys, here's my dillemma. Most of my classes are after 2:30 so I have time to eat right before and I have breaks so I can eat well in between classes also. The problem is on Wednesdays, I have class from 10-5 with only 2 15 minute breaks. I plan on eating breakfast but that only lasts me 2 hours. What can I bring with me that will help me stay on a healthy meal plan? I tried trail mix but I eat too much of it.

Someone PLEASE help me...

Maybe try bringing dried fruit or veggies. They have this awesome stuff at www.justtomatoes.com There are all different varieties of dried fruits and veggies. They all taste great! The best part is that they are low in calories, so you could eat the whole tub and it wouldn't add up to much! There are lots of good nutrients in them and they are also organic. They are one of my favorite foods.
You could also try Vegan bars. www.organicfoodbar.com They are like protein/energy bars, but there is no bad stuff in them. 'Unlike most other bars, the organic food bars are sweetened only with whole-food sweeteners, including organic dates, organic raisins, organic honey, and low Glyecemic Index organic agave nectar to keep your blood sugar levels stable'. They are supposed to reduce acidity and increase endurance and stamina. They also taste great, much different than other nutrition bars-if you have tried any. It says they are perfect for students and people on the go.
Yet another option is brown rice cakes. They come in different flavors and are very low in calories.
ps I know what you mean about the trail mix. I'd eat too much of that too!

Being a student, my first thought is you are limited on money (I could be wrong). If that is the case, although meal or protein bars may be a good idea, it could get rather expensive. But on the other hand, if it is only one day a week, that could be a good option. The veggies that Dana mentioned would be my first choice. There are lots of good "on the go" veggies such as baby carrots, celery, sliced cucumbers, cauliflower, and brocolli, just to name a few. For protein, you can buy some packets of tuna or salmon. I'm not talking about the cans. Grab the packets. They're easier. Not to mention, that in the packets, the tuna comes in different flavors now, like lemon pepper. That one is really good. Take a low-carb whole wheat tortilla with you and put the tuna on it and have a tuna wrap with some veggies.
When I need food on the go, I go to the grocery store and walk every aisle to see what kind of food would be easy to carry with me. You never know what they have until you see it. Sometimes they come up with new stuff. The trail mix you mentioned isn't bad. You say it is too easy to eat too much though. Just get a small baggie and take only a little with you. You can eat only what you carry with you.

Get some tupperware, and put some oats, whey, cinnamon, and a packet of splenda in, then between classes, put some water in it, shake it up, and drink it/eat with fork. That's what I do.

Thanks for al the tips guys and gals! :

I think im going to try the dried fruit idea and maybe some sort of protein bar. My basic goal is to eat cleaner this year. I have a decent build, just a little spare tire around the middle that is so resistant...damn you.... I think eating clearner will do the trick for me since its usually wendy's every day previously.

thanks again and keep the ideas coming!
