Just to clarify on the legs.....I teach 3-4 group fitness class per week. Some are sports conditioning that include plio lunges and squats, with and without resistance. My kickbox includes a ton of low body work. I also do a muscle endurance class focused on high reps/low weight. I can't do low body workouts with more than a few pounds....my leg muscle (except for my skinny calves) respond SO much that if I do, the pants that fit before the leg workout literally won't fit around my gluts/quads the next day. Yes, it's that crazy. Not to mention the fact that up until two years ago, I spent 30 years of my lifting crazy heavy amounts for my legs/butt with absolutely no response. I was buttless for 30 years even though I was lifting more than most guys, now I don't even have a leg day and my legs/butt are huge--yet rock solid. No clue how/why these things change. Sometimes I feel like I have so very little control over the shape of my body now that genetics have decided to do what they want to do. It's very frustrating.....I will work on the diet though and thanks for the tips! On that topic, anyone have any info on effects of ephedra or splenda long term on weight gain??

I also gave up alcohol for six weeks keeping all else with diet/exercise the same and notice no change. So I added the fun time back in...I didn't see it making a difference, but I really don't drink much at all.

I wish I had that problem. I've got the legs of a chicken sick with bird flu.

Sorry, I can't share any info about ephedra - I'm not allowed to take any suppliments that raise my body temperature. To the best of my knowledge, splenda is OK though. Someone may know more about that than I do however.

Yes, that was me for 30 years! I was teased! Called butt-less! Now my rear has been officially dubbed "ghetto booty", also known as the "shelf butt". I guess this is not necessarily a bad thing, but at this rate I'll be a whole new pant wardrobe every three months......

hmmm . . do you think changing your workouts to not include heavy weights on your lower half made them bigger? I would think there might be a connection.

You workout a ton more than most so I would expect that you would need to eat more. That is where everyone is different.
