Critique my granola breakfast


Spencer's Crunchy Apple & Cinnamon

Serving size 1/2 cup
Servings per bag 10
Calories 230

Total fat 4.5g
Sat fat 1g
Trans fat 0
Cholesterol 0
Total Carbohydrates 42g
Dietary Fiber 3g
Sugars 8g
Protein 5g

Ingridients:
Whole wheat, whole grain oats, brown sugar, crisp rice,(rice flour, barley malt extract), whey powder, corn starch, soybean oil, corn syrup, apples, salt, almonds, cinnamon, natural vanilla flavor

One cup of this cereal, 8fl oz of OJ, and a peanut butter chocolate protein shake(2tbsp PB, one scoop chocolate whey, 8fl oz skim milk) has been getting me by for breakfast since I discovered it a week or so ago.

Any thoughts?

as far as packaged cereals go, it doesnt seem too bad at all really. But would you not consider making your own? I know Brat makes her own granola, perhaps she would share the recipe.

Or how about oats? i eat oats every day for breakfast now, and have started putting peanut butter in it - yummy!

seems like a nice solid breakfast you have there - 700 calories? what does the rest of your day look like food-wise?
