diet while on total gym

I was so excited that I was gonna start working out tommorow, before I got told that my family is going to go visit my uncle. there's no real gym where he lives, but he bought a total gym like a few years ago when I was there last. I've decided that I'm going to use it, better than nothing, until I get back home and can workout with free weights. I assume that there isn't a much need for a high protein diet with the total gym. If anyone can help me here, that would be great.

Just make sure that you're getting enough protein. The more seriously you tax your body to stimulate muscle growth, the more protein your body can put to good use. Using a Total Gym, my guess is that your body won't need much more than what would otherwise be normal for you to maintain. Experiment with it some and see how your body responds.
