digestive tract health

I was talking with a buddy of mine yesterday who said his friend starting asking him "when was the last time you cleansed your system & colon".

Supposedly he was saying that there was a drink or some type of supplements that will cleanse out the digestive system along with build up in the colon...

I did a search on the internet and it seems like there is a bunch of different products people are selling that "supposedly" do this.

I know fiber, fruits and veggies are the natural way to do this.. But has anyone heard of other methods or products that do this? Is there such things that "cleanse" the years of buildup?

(I feel like im talking about drano.........)

it's all bogus. there are no "years" of buildup in your digestive tract or you'd get sepsis from the bacteria and rotting food.

keep your diet high in fibre and low in crap and you'll be just fine.

if you have the need, however, (some ppl do, for some wierd reason), go to the hospital and ask them about the routine given for ppl needing a barium enema. you KNOW your system will be clean as a whistle after that - they do, after all, have to take pictures - but stay near a toilet cause the phospho-soda is VERY powerful stuff.
