Eggs

Ok, I like eggs and all but 12 boiled eggs at one time?? I saw this on a non-fitness related show the other day, Dr. 90210. This plastic surgeon, Dr. Rey is active, lifts and does tae-kwon-do and he starts his day off with 12 boiled eggs. Is that too much?

LoL! I saw that episode. I would think it's too much but I think he's on a low carb diet that would permit such high fat intake. I've watched about 6 episodes so far and I just can't stand that guy. He's got just a humongous ego and treats his wife pretty poorly in my humble opinion. Oh well, takes all kinds... hehe

This is off the subject, but I like that show. I guess I look past his ego because he is hot. Fits the profile, older, handsome, and from Brazil . . . !!!

WHAT???? The dewd looks like a goomba from the Sopranos.

He eats them that way cause they are easier to cook. Not as much fun to eat that way though.

Depending on the size of the egg, that could be around 600 calories, so no, not too much for an active individual.

How did you come up with 600? Even with large eggs I came up with 250.

Anna, If you think the goomba is hot I have a few friends that you would love. LMFAO :

Eggs have more than 20 calories each, more like of 50-60. 12 x 50 = 600, and large eggs have more than 50 ea. unless you are only eating egg whites and not whole eggs.

Yeah, he was taking out the yolks and just eating the whites. I see how you could get 600 if you include the whites now.

I'm confused now- you mean "if you inclue the YOLKS", right? If I eat eggs during the day (i.e. not last meal) I'll usually add some chopped potato to it and only have a maximum of 2 yolks with 3-4 whites. If I have eggs as my last meal, however, I'll have 3 whole eggs.
