It might, depending on your fiber intake throughout the rest of the day. Personally, I like to maintain a pretty steady flow of dietary fiber all day long.

i eat all whole grains, brown rice all day, but i was just wondering if adding fiber to your mourning meal and post workout would help your body digest the protein alot quicker and allow protein synthesis.
Definition: mourning meal -- The meal you eat just before attending a funeral.
I think that if your fiber is fine throughout the day, then you'll be just fine without adding a fiber supplement to your post-workout shake. Personally, I always add a tablespoon of flax seed meal to my shakes.
