Fish Oil Question

My girlfriend's doctor wants her to start taking fish oil. My girlfriend will puke at the SLIGHTEST smell of fish. She HATES FISH!!!!!!!!!!

She wants to know if there is a fish oil that will not make her burp up..and i quote, "disgusting burpy fishy stinky breath".

The doctor's main concern is that my g/f starts getting omega 3 fatty acids. I suggested maybe flaxseed oil instead.

Any advice from the nutrition freaks would be appreciated.

Get capsules.............not as cheap as the raw oil but no fish smell.

If I recall correctly, flax has a pretty much even ratio of Omega 3's to 6's.......so it's not "as good" as fish oil.

I have recently started taking Omega3, and I haven't been burping too much, but I understand. I have heard that this oil is really good for you. Maybe you should consult with the dr. again.

^^^^^^
What he said.

I get the cold water salmon gelcaps. Not too burpey. Take some chlorophyl capsules for the breath and all is good.

I really don't mind the fish breath though, it masks my keto breath on days I forget to eat enough.

She said she has the capsules and they cause her to burp and she will puke if she has any taste or smell of fish around her.

Chlorophyll capsules. Really, they do help. At my house we call them stink pills. They help with breath odors from the stomach, from the lungs, and when taken long enough, eleminate the need to use potentially toxic deoderants. They just get rid of stink.

Does anyone else find it odd that Dave's girlfriend has a problem with a little fish smell but has no problem spending extended periods of time around him?

Just wondering........

In the uk we can buy a bread with omega fish oils in it and the taste is normal bread.
But i recommend capsules of cod liver oil, no after burp flavour.
Not cheapest way but most convieniant and nicest way to comsume lots of oil without smelling like cat breath

Heres what i say is for ye all to stop pansying about.

Every fish oil capsule i take I bite into it to ensure its freshness and enjoy that lovely taste. To disguise it is insulting.

A breath freshener later and you are sorted
