Thumbs up

FYI Quick info on Yogurt

After doing some legwork looking for Yogurt with 0 fat and naturally sweetened the best one I have found is Blue Bunny Lite and it is naturally sweetened with the fruits and also Splenda. I will eat some before and after workouts for the natural sugars. Hope this info helps someone. Danny

p.s. I also lost 3 lbs of fat(hopefully) my first week on this diet Cursor helped me with! Cursor is the MAN!

I looked at my Dannon yogurt with fruit and it was high in carbs and I don't think it was the good carbs either, 21 grams of sugar. Or maybe that's not high for yogurt? I like the key lime pie yogurt, yum!

Blue Bunny is better huh? Hmmmm . . . may have to pick that up at the store. I bought the plain, no fat yogurt to mix with my protein shakes and that was interesting to say the least

Not too tastsy but healthy.

Thanks for the post, I'm at work and got a yogurt in the fridge waiting for me!

I usually go with plain nonfat, Stonyfield Farms. If I want some extra flavor in a shake, I add fresh fruit chunks - strawberries, etc.

21 grams of sugar is alot! I go with the no fat cuz of the diet I'm on trying to lose fat. I would think wether or not your tring to lose fat or not you would still want to stay away from the fat in the yogurt cuz of the time of day you would east it(before or after workout/cardio). Blue Bunny has the Keylime pie also, I have a few. The Yogurt I have has like 8 grams of sugar but it is natural from the fruits and the sweet taste comes from the Splenda which isn't that bad for you, might want to ask Cursor he knows more than I do about Splenda sweetner. After your workouts try some and I think you will find them very tasty. HTH Danny

eating fat will not make you fat...eating too many calories will make you fat.

I agree, but I'm talking about eating the fat before and after workouts not through out the day or eating fat in general. I keep my fat intake minimal before and after workouts as not to mix it with the carbs too much. Thats really the only time I eat yogurt cuz of the high amount of sugar in the fruits. I like to eat the majority of my fats late at night or as far away from my workout as possible and the majority of the fats I eat are un-fats. Am I wrong in that assumption?

I always go with fat free plain flavored yogurt and add berries, blueberries, strawberries, sometimes dried cranberries. The plain definatly has a bitter taste and not everyone can stomach it. It's all about sacrafices tho.

I can only eat Yogurt in small amounts (less than 8oz) because I am Lactose Intollerant. When I do eat it, I get plain ol Winn-Dixie Fat Free Yogurt. It has 16g carb (10 Sugar), and 6g Protein. Awsome for that post workout meal (Combined with Oatmeal)

I eat 2-3 yoghurts a day now I'm bulking, I find they tend to contain a lot of carbs.

Have you ever considered eating soy yoghurt, its really good, it has less fat and is just as high in carbs and I can barely taste the difference.

Yeah but I already eat soy foods and I dont want to overdo the soy intake. Too much soy jacks up your estrogen and can lower your testosterone =)
