Good meal replacement shakes?

ive quickly found that managing my diet and trying to get in a good 5-6 meals a day is actually harder for me than lifting the weights. so, im looking for a good meal replacement shake that i can use to substitute for the meals im missing. what are some good brands that taste good and are relatively cheap?

I like the Met-Rx ones. They aren't that bad. Not as good as a real meal mind you... but they get the job done in a pinch. One quick not though they mix ok in a shaker. If you use a blender they mix much better!

Meal replacements give you carbs/vitimans/minerials and protein.

I just drink SlimFast in the morning and that seems to work fine for me. But I also have a Sam's Club card and can get thirty of them for twenty bucks (CONSIDERABLY cheaper than buying them in 5/6 packs at WalMart for almost 5 bucks a pop). But there is an Equate equivalant that I'd tried before (from WalMart) that was pretty good.

Those SlimFast shakes are not the best choice as a meal replacement (nor for much of anything else):

so do I. They taste great in milk, and are supposedly made of some of the highest quality protein out there. I currently use the chocolate kind, and i have some strawberry on order, ill let you know how that tastes as well.

manif3st,

I use Met-Rx MRP, I get the 6.25 lb tub from easypricematch.com, they make the lowest price you can find on the net better by 5%.

Good Luck.

My favorite by far is Lean Mass Matrix Cinnamon Oatmeal flavor. Mixes so easily and tastes absolutely delicious.
