Have a sugar craving? Try this...

I've mentioned before that I'm always putting anything I can in 1% lowfat cottage cheese. I'm finding that pretty much anything mixes well with it. Last night, I put a package of sugar-free chocate pudding mix in it. I really didn't think it would taste that good for some reason, but wow, was I wrong. If you like chocolate cream pie, this is what it reminds me of. It's a perfect and very healthy way to take care of a sweet tooth. The only problem I'm finding with it is it's extremely difficult to put down. I have to be very disciplined not to eat the entire container at one sitting!

p.s. As I was sitting here typing this (having said it reminds me of chocolate cream pie), I just went upstairs and put some fat-free cool whip on top. Oh my gosh! Now I will have to be extremely careful with this. It's awesome! It tastes exactly like chocolate cream pie, to me anyway.
So if you find yourself having a sweet tooth and like chocolate, you might want to try this.

I dont normally have sugar cravings b/c i didnt eat a lot of sweet foods before. For me it has been fat/grease/salt all in one cravings. Like a hamburger craving or pizza, or hot wings. Stuff like that.

..philly cheese steak with a1... things of that nature.

Good grief Lewtz, I wish I were in your position then. Your is easy to take care of! Grab some 96% lean ground beef and make your own burger. Use a low-carb whole wheat tortilla for the bun. I have a friend who owns a CiCi's Pizza and he makes me crustless pizzas. He uses only ham and all the vegetables I want and goes light on the cheese. Very healthy.

How do you keep all of the ingredients from falling off the pizza when you eat it? And where is 96% lean ground beef found? I've never seen ground beef with the lean % labelled on it before...

He makes it in a small round aluminum pan for me. He makes a lot of them because a lot of his customers do Atkins.

Our Walmart Supercenter labels the fat content on their ground beef. Sometimes I go to Buy for Less and they label theirs as well, but they only go up to about 92% lean. Walmart is the only place I have found with 96% lean. In fact, I'm glad you have reminded me about this. I need to go take some out of the freezer so I can have a good lean burger tonight!!

Both our WalMart grocery and Target carry as lean as 98%. I think it tastes like crap, when we BBQ or something of that nature, I get no less than 85/15, but we don't eat alot of ground beef. We always sub Turkey, Chicken, or Bocca/Morningstar for ground beef.
