Help-motivation

I've been keeping my caloric intake at my goal level for about 4 weeks now with a few slips here and there...but this week has been the worst. Two nights I went over the calories by a lot because of late night social eating with friends...ice cream, fries, etc.. I've already been able to tighten my belt one notch which I'm excited about and that should be enough motivation for me...but any extra tips for avoiding social eating like that?
Thanks.

I wouldn't sweat it and call it refueling. Now get back on that treadmill!

what will work for you is if you compltely eliminate simple sugars (think of it as a nicotine addictione) and adopt a clean healthy way of eating for life.

I don't agree with cheat meals (at least not after some time eating completely clean), and the cheat meals should not be lusted after, just treat it as an ordinary meal.
