at the end of the month, i'm going to see if i can screw up the courage to post pics (the ones i took back in march and updated ones). i have the same problem my partner does: ppl are commenting very favourably on the improvement, but i simply don't see it (except i'm running out of clothes to wear).

doesn't that suck the most!? here i am carping at my trainee to take a pill, calm down, we're only in our 8th week, can't expect schwarzenegger shoulders in seven weeks of training (although he IS picking up remarkably fast), and i'm secretly pissed that i don't have rachel mclish's waist in the same time period, lol!

I was just wondering how bad they would be if I were to put some on a salad? I was thinking like dry roasted or no salt.

oh, absolutely YUM! i recommend slivered toasted almonds with canned or fresh mandarin sections on a bed of mixed mesclun served with raspberry vinaigrette.

you can switch the toasted almonds for toasted cashews and the mandarin sections for pear, or go for hazelnuts and avocado.

....mmmm... i love nuts..... <evil grin>

Heck, I married one. Oh shoot! That didn't have anything to do with fitness. What am I doing writing posts like that on a fitness forum??
(ok, ok, just thought I would have a little fun. Seemed like this post got off of the topic of nuts anyway. I don't want anyone to shoot me )

Was it wrong to mention seeds in a nut post?

No one commented about them. Maybe no one but me eats them

i love seeds, too. i even eat apple and pear cores.

not too big on sunflower seeds, though: there's a funky kinda metallic undertaste i don't care for much.
