How many calories are you eating a day?

Simple question, how many calories do you try and eat daily?
... and what is your goal?

I'm interested in seeing the different answers.
I've was cutting for about 3 weeks on about 1500-200 calories a day (till christmas arrived ), and am now bulking and apparently my maintenance calorie intake should be 2800, which is a shock to me but means I'll try and aim for 3000. I'm 19 and currently 75kg, goal is to put on as much muscle as I can, want to be big but not overly so.

So, you goal and how many calories you currently eat?
.. and your age and current wait.

Hoping I'm not asking something that has been asked more then 4 times already today ...

from the classes I have taken, i've learned that you should eat roughly 13 times your body weight (lbs) in calories if you are a male, and 11 times (lbs) if you are a female to MAINTAIN body weight with little or no excersize

19 years old, weighing in at 171 lbs. My goal is put on as much muscle as possible with as little fat as possible. I'm looking to gain about 1 lb a month.

Currently taking in 2400 to 2600 calories on days I workout, and 2100 - 2200 on days that I don't.

49 & 51/52 yo/ f/ 128-130#

I am currently eating and maintaining at 2500-3000 cals a day, more often on the high side. Don't know my total breakdown but my fat consumption is about 45-50% of daily calories (with 15-20% as saturated). I've probably been eating this way for over 3 years now.

Sadly I've been off my normal workout pace for a month and am down to just one 30 minute CF style gym session per week, but it does not involve any hip or leg driven movements.

I did not experience any weight gain over the holidays even though I had a lot of sweet stuff - more than normal.

My goal is to keep eating the way I do until my blood lipid profile or blood pressure changes into a risk indicator. My goal is to try and eat more vegetables, all the time, year round, in addition.

For me that would be 1400 cals/ day at my current activity level.

I'd die at that rate!

Hi,
Just wanted to say this is a great post. I'm curious about it too
me...23yrs, F, 125lbs
bulking on 2600-3000. (usually around 2800)

I was at 120lbs about 1.5 months ago. I've been trying to gain muscle but have been keeping up cardio 3x/week as well (because I love it). After bulking will try and cut fat and maintain as much muscle as possible. I plan on doing so by uping my cardio and dropping the cals to around 2300.

27 year old male, 180 pounds.

I want to put on about 5 pounds of muscle so I can be a big 170 after a cut (and dehydration) for future competitions. I'm eating just shy of 4000 calories a day and not having a lot of luck adding weight due to my level of activity. Unfortunately, my level of activty doesn't lend itself to big meals, so I'm having a hard time finding where to get the bigger meals in. Viscious circle. I've started consuming peanut butter anytime I'm not stuffed to get the calories in, hopefully that helps.
