In the uk we concider raw oats as a healthy option, I have eaten them for yrs, from a child even (no not pinched them off a child lol) I mean from childhood i have eaten them and im still living lol

I never thought about blending it, that's a good idea. Oatmeal is totally healthy for you, not sure why you would worry about it being bad for you.
