Remember fat will not make you fat, extra calories will make you fat. Say your body burns 2,000 calories a day during normal activity, and you eat nothing but 2,000 calories of pure grade A fat, you will not gain weight. So why does fat get such a bad rap? Because it is
calorie dense, it yields 9 calories per gram, where as protein and carbohydrate yield 4.
I tell people who drink tea to be sure and drink enough water along with it, your body has to filter out what's in the tea and it does that by urination, if you lose water and your body thinks it is not getting enough, it will hang on to it, so make sure that your urine is about clear or your body might want to hang onto water making you look soft.
As far as what you eat think about food as fuel. Do you care about what the gas smells like that you put in your car, or do you just want it to make your car run well? Think of food as the same thing. Sometimes if I'm in a rush and don't have time to cook, the most convenient thing is a can of tuna fish, and a couple of packets of
instant oatmeal. I'll eat it with out batting an eye, that would make the average person gag (keep the flames to a minimum when replying to this post please) but I know what my body needs and I'm going to supply it regardless of taste.
Weigh your priorities, is it important to have this food that will taste good for 2 min and contains calories that will in no way benefit my body.
Or is it important to have the body you want and deserve because of your strenuous workout schedule?
Taste lasts for a few minutes, but supplying the correct nutrients to your body will change your life.
