I'm 17 and new to this forum. Natural Nutrition.

Hey people,

I'm am a 17 year old guy who just weights 135 lbs. I want to begin bodybuilding and I would like you to give me good ideas of natural foods that can give me the energy needed, the proteins and the carbohydrates(don't even know what those are needed for) in resumé, food that can improve my strenght and muscle mass.

If you have a link or something that can help me, it would be useful since trying to find a natural way to bodybuild on internet often leads to a commercial site or something like that.

Thank you for your suggestions!

WElcome to DF.com =)

I am a natrual/Health Food nut. Some of the Natural items i get are Natural Peanut Butter, Sprouted grain bread, Omega Eggs, Organic Whole wheat pasta, and Organic Oatbran/Oatmeal.

Also check out the Bodybuilders Grocery List thread for some lists of foods that are healthy and good =)

Here is some info on gaining weight as well:

Massive Eating 1 - http://www.t-mag.com/html/body_146mass.html
Massive Eating 2 - http://www.t-mag.com/html/body_147mass.html
Skinny Bastard - http://www.t-mag.com/nation_articles/176skin.html
Get big Diet - http://t-mag.com/html/body_92getbig.html

Also Do NOT neglect your fats. You need to have at least 15-20% of your diet in healthy fats (Above). A good starting point would be about 3000 calories a day with either a 50% Carb, 30% Pro, 20% Fat diet or a 40% Carb, 40% Pro, 20% Fat diet split.
