im lookin for advice on a cut diet.

well ive decided i want to drop some of my body fat down a bit and i want to try cutting up a bit..and then bulking up and cut once again. my question is as of right now im eating about 2000 2200 cals..ive been keeping good track..is lowering down to 1800 a good start. i feel any lower would be too low for me. i am around 5 10 and i weigh 150-155 pounds. also with lifting and being in hockey i sometimes wonder if my body can take this. would it just be smart for me to wait till febuary to cut and just stick to the 2000 cal meal plan i have. and finally this is what i thought to be a good split for my meals. its 43% protien 32%carbos 25%fats and i will be doin this over a period of two weeks.

p/c/f
meal one 39/42/8
work out
meal two 39/42/8
meal three 39/25/12
meal four 39/25/12
meal five 39/10/10

let me know what you think..and if there is any changes i should make here i would love to know. i really am lookin forward to trying this out but im not sure if i should go ahead with it.
thanks a lot

Your ratios are pretty accurate, I eat a 50% Protein 30% Carb 20% Fat when cutting but it seems you have done the math.

I usually advise bodyweight (in lbs) x 11 = your daily calorie total, so yours would be 1700.

You must take into account however other calorie expenditure such as your hockey so 1800 is probably a safe bet.

Make sure you eat clean avoid visible fat & sugar. Stay away from sources of refined carbohydrates such as white bread, white rice potatoes etc. Eat wholmeal alternatives, personally I avoid bread altogether when I'm cutting.

Try & drink 1 gallon of water a day.

As long as you have a correct cardio & lifting schedule there should be no reason why you cannot cut some weight.

I would give it longer than 2 weeks, it will be difficult to achieve much in such a short time span. Try 4 weeks & if you achieve your desired results after 3 weeks you can start bulking.

Best of Luck, Jock
