My new breakfast

I am in love with my new breakfast. It isn't healthy-delicious, it is flat out delicious! Its a bit heavy, but you can always scale back the oatmeal, or not eat it at all, if its too much or you maintain a high fat, low carb diet. This is a meal for when you aren't going to get your 6-7 meals a day. Me, I typically only eat 4-5 anymore, so this fits perfect with my schedule and metabolism.

Ham, Egg, and Cheese on Toast w/ Sweet Oatmeal:
- 2 whole eggs
- ~1/8 of sliced lean ham
- 1 slice of cheese
- 2 slices of whole grain toast
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- honey to taste (1 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp flax seed

ALL -- protein: 51g, carbs: 76g, fat: 33g, calories: 830
NO OATMEAL -- protein: 42g, carbs: 30g, fat: 24g, calories: 520

Enjoy!

As delicious as this sounds, I'm more of a cereal guy myself. I really like crunch type cereals especially. I could probably eat an entire box throughout the day. Does anyone agree?

On the mornings when I just have to get out the door, I like fiber one with honey clusters. And yes, I can eat a lot of it.

Yeah, I'm eating LiveActive cereals like Mixed Berry Crunch. It's made with whole grain flakes, real fruits and nuts, as well as those crunchy clusters. It is very easy to eat right out of the box. Best part is that it keeps your digestive system on track. Cool, huh?

I think it is good to mix up the breakfast/lunch/dinner mix from time to time just like we do with our training. Some time back I started a thread about this and I believe the title was a burger for breakfast.

Eat a burger for breakfast or some pizza and ham and eggs for dinner. Ice cream for breakfast and oatmeal for dinner. The possibilities are endless.
