Need some input

Hey guys I need some advice on a couple things. First, I eat a good amount of Sara Lee Turkey sandwiches because of convenience. How good or bad is my lunch meat really? I've done minimal research and can't get a solid position. I know there's some nitrates and sodium, but besides that what am I putting in my mouth? Also, I what's a good fish oil? I'm hesitant to buy because of the mercury scare and need someone's educated opinion.

To find out what you're putting in your mouth, read the ingredients. I know that sounds simplistic, but for anyone to really answer that question, they would simply have to read the ingredients. Given that it's lunch meat, I would say it has turkey, water, sodium, maybe some sugar, then just the basic other preservatives they always throw in lunch meat. I certainly wouldn't worry about it.

As far as the sodium, I wouldn't worry about that because it's summer and your body needs the salt anyway.

Caloric-wise, as long as it fits in your diet, don't worry about it. Summer is the time to eat sandwiches anyway if you ask me.

As far as fish oil, I currently take Fish, Flaxseed, Borage Oil softgels by Spring Valley. Honestly, I can't tell you that it is better than any other. That's just what I take.

Ready meals and ready meats are processed, high salt poor quality foods.
Try Tuna un beetroot in a sarni, the vinegar will help keep tuna fresh for few hrs.
And if you use tinned tuna in brine its not so processed
