Sesame Sticks (good or bad)?


Is it wise to sart eating sesame sticks? I was thinking Ill have some before my workout because they are high in carbs.

They contain the following values per 100grams:

Energy 2091kj 500kcal
protein 9.6g
carbs 56.1g (carbs that sugar 0.9g)
Fat 26.3g (saturated 1.9g)
Fibre 3.04g
Sodium 2.01g

Any opinions?

Awfully high fat content. Look at the list of ingredients—watch out for hydrogenated oils/fats (unsaturated fats that have had hydrogen atoms added, making them behave much like saturated fats).

A high fat content should be good duringthe bulking stage though right? If not hydrogenated.

Quality fat is good at any stage, provided its consumed at the right times in your schedule (and in reasonable amounts).
