What to eat flax seed oil with?
I hate the smell. I hate the taste. I hate the look. What can I ram this awful stuff down my throat with? I can get 1 tblspoon down with my morning protein shake but how can I get the second? I cant have it with my second post workout shake, so what with?

Take fish oil capsules much better. Can also get it as a lemon flavored liquid.

mmm, I might try that...
Are those expensive though? And how beneficial are they compared to flax. I suppose I could have flax in the morning in the shake and fish oil at night. Sorted.

I bought 120 fish oil capsules for 10 bucks from Meijers yesterday. I thought that was pretty cheap but i don't know.
They recommend 3 capsules per day, 1 at a time throughout the day. 40 day supply.

For full benefits you need to take about 3.5g epa/dha a day. On average this works out as 10-12 capsules daily.

Mix flax seed oil in with your salad dressing or protein shakes. You have to take a lot of capsules to get the same as a teaspoon of oil so it's worth trying to tolerate it liquid.
Flaxseed oil also comes flavourd for kids (caramel) or spiced with chiles.

What is flax seed oil and what are its benefits?
Also any ideas on the best time to take Multivitamins/Cod Liver Oil? I currently take them post workout.

Instead of using the oil as a source of fat in your diet, try getting the fat from a whole food source: flax seed meal. I buy the seeds, and grind them in my $15 coffee grinder each morning and eat it with my cottage cheese and/or oatmeal. You can even put it in juice, smoothies, yogurt, granola, anything! It actually tastes good too, and has quality protein and fiber, in addition to the amazing source of fat! I highly reccomend this.

Now im not recomending this to anyone but when i was cutting i was taking in 6-8 a day.

Put it with some oatmeal in the morning too, but protein shakes are the quickest way to down the stuff.

Well I do recommend 10-12 if you want proper results. It has been shown by the FDA.
