Option one, from a nutritional standpoint, is better because of the processed sugar in the cereal. If you were to change that to a bowl of Go Lean cereal, that would be a different story. With the two you have listed, I would go with number one. However, if you feel like a bowl of honey bunches of oats, go with it. You only live once.

1 is more balanced & complete. Mix it up option 1 one one day, option 2 on another to keep from getting bored.

Why have the bacon at all? Add some more eggs to option 1. That would be my choice.

I agree with LadyC. If you just cant get rid of your bacon switch to turkey bacon, it tastes just the same trust me. Also try a sclice of smoked tukey chopped up into the egg. I start the day with one egg combined with one egg white and two slices of tukey bacon, or I chop up a slice of lunch meat, turkey or lean ham into the egg for a small omlette.

I'm sorry it is Turkey Bacon. I should have stated that.

Turkey Bacon is great, I switch it up with some chopped up chicken breast everynow and again to watch the sodium intake. Breakfast 1 is the winner hands down. I havent had sugar cereal since I was a kid, not that I couldnt scarf down 10 bowls of it right now...that is some good tastin stuff.

Good Luck.

Option 1 for sure, but are you sure it's enough?? I've eaten an eight egg white (two yok) ham and cheese omlet with a cup of oatmeal (with berries and flaxseed meal) every morning for years, and on top of a whey shake and banana before my shower I'm still hungry three hours later.
