How long have you been working with weights, MadCow? From your posts you sound determined.

Once again thanks cursor & Todd,

I have entered my 6th month of intense lifting and yes, I am very admant. I am spending more time on quality eating and pumping.

Sad part of my training is that I have been overdoing my Biceps as nobody told me before I came to this wonderful site. You may notice my Biceps are not mature as compared to my other body. But now I am trying to focus on my biceps and triceps. I have wasted 5 months on my Biceps that disspapoints me a lot.

Thanks guys, I hope somebody else could also provide me feedback.

Thanks,

MC.

I was gonna say that. I think if you do more lifts like Dead lifts and back off of curls a bit you will explode! Give it a try!
But your chest is looking good!! Get the arms up to speed and I got a run for my bench press judging by your chest!!

Jaster:

I have not yet started Dead Lifts but will soon. What benefits will I get out of Dead Lifts?

Why do you want me to "back off of curls"?

MC.

Dead lifts will work your whole body and do great things for your upper body.

Back off the curls if you are over working your biceps...

Yes, Jaster before I was doing 5 different excercies with 4 Sets each and with 10, 8, 6, 4 reps each set for Biceps. Damn it I was so crazy to built good biceps.

Now I will only do only 3 different excercises of Biceps with 3 sets each -Reps 8, 6, 4 on the same day when I do my Back too.

Will 3 different excercises for my Biceps will be good enough. I'll train my biceps after I finish my back excercise the same day?

Should I dead lift at the very end of my Back excercise or should I dead lift when I finish my Biceps?

Please advice.

MC.

I would dead lift first.
When I do a lot of heavy back stuff I only need to do 3 sets of curls and I stick with barbell curls. Any more of that and it's counterproductive on me. But that is me you need to learn and listen to your body. You will get it all in line. Make sure you make a Work out log.

Yeah, you are right when you say "Listen to your Body". Sometimes when I hit my back hard my biceps get rock hard. In this case only 2 or even may be 1 bicep excercise may do the work with 3 sets.

I was thinking of the following excercises for my Biceps, I want to be very vigilant from now on and want my biceps to grow mature:

I was thinking of sitting barbel curs with dumbells.
(3 Sets - 8,6,4,4 reps)

Then standing curls with EZ bar. (Same sets and reps as above)

And end with Preaching Curls with EZ bar. (Same Sets and reps)

Should I do my last/finishing Bicep Excercise with preaching curl or something else?

What say you?

MC.

You could try incline curls.
Sit on a bench at 45 degrees let your harms hang down to the floor and curl. You will have to go lighter then reg. curls. They are tough!!

So you suggest incline curls as my finishing excercise?

Chage them up all the time. I never have a finnisher I move them around rotate them do one one work out then drop it for 2 work outs then brig it back in tow weeks. Keep the body guessing. Your body gets used to the work out.

Thanks Jaster for the information. I'll rotate.

How long would it take to see results, whether by biceps are getting shape and size?

I would say about a month you should feel and notice it. It takes about 3 weeks for the body to get used to a workout.
