Matt's Progress Pics

Day 11/30

No Flex, me just standing there. All criticisms accepted (Even Welcome). Sorry for the poor quality, I'll try to get someone else to take the pics next time. It really doesn't show much definition at all.

New PICS as of 1/23/2005

Images below are were the 'before' pics taken on January 8th. See any difference?

Hey man - you have a nice build for adding mass, especially in the chest and shoulders. Good-looking base. : I can't remember from your journal if you are bulking now or cutting (or neither).

Bulking, trying to add some mass (at least until I run out of Protien). My body has been responding really well so I'm thinking about getting a bit more serious about building and cutting.

Looks as though you've got natural muscle thickness and a solid foundation to begin packing on more lean muscle. If you are able to get your diet so that you are taking in clean foods along with a calorie range that is just over maintenance level, you should be able to continue adding lean mass with little if any fat gain along the way. Be consistent with diet, training, cardio, and rest, and over time you will acheive results beyond what you have originally thought possible! :

Keep up the good work!

Todd, I appreciate your message. Do you have a link to a diet
like what you're talking about? What is meant by "Clean Foods"? and what should my maintenance level be?

I appreciate the help!

Cool

Thanks

Thanks man, I never really wanted to be big... Until I saw Andre's transformation and Todd's Pics. Man, talk about motivation! I build muscle pretty easily and I love to lift weight so I guess I shouldn't fight it eh?

Azanmi: I'm pretty sure that Todd follows the Max-OT prescription for nutrition (gee ... that rhymes ) If you need some help finding the source document, just pipe up.

As noted, it looks like you've got some size on you. Do you both lift heavy and pay careful attention to your nutrition?

Yes and No

Yes and No
Yes I try to lift heavy and No (Unfortunately) I don't watch my diet well enough. I like what Todd has shared with me about Max-OT, I think I'll start implementing that asap. Hopefully I will be able to shed the excess weight while maintaining lean muscle mass.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

I can see some differences. In your traps and lats. Also, you look a little leaner in your midsection. Keep training hard and keep on pulling. By the summertime, you'll be ready to flaunt your stuff in a tank top. You might need a shave to show all that you'll have by then.

Keep up the good work.
