Progress from 245-198

I have not been here in a while but I have been continuing with my new life program and I have finally broken that once illusive 200lbs mark... Here are some pics of my journey...

Also would you guys take stab at my BF? thanks

Great progress over the past 6 months...very impressive/healthy rate of fat loss. I would guess-timate you BF% in the high teens.

Are you including weight training in your program? If so, another question...are you squating?

thanks guys...

MostM, I don't do squats but here is what I do for my legs, I do three sets of:

Leg Press at 310lbs * 15
Step ups at 20lbs *30
Leg extensions at 85lbs * 25
Leg Curls at 75lbs * 25
Hip Abductors at 95lbs * 30

I should also add that if there is a day that I slack off its legs becuase I think my legts are chunky already and I don't want them much bigger. So what I have listed above are maximums, if I feel up to it.

squats aren't just legs - they're a total body exercise. i'd ditch the extensions and curls in place of squats.

your legs don't look chunky to me - if anything, they look undersized in proportion to your shoulders.

I always thought they were big... When ever I bought straight leg jeans I have to get them to fit my theighs and not my waist... That made me think they were big in proportion to the rest of me.

Next time I get with my trainer I will sugest adding squats, thanks guys

Great work! Now that you're used to lifting weights, get the reps lower to build more muscle. The more muscle you have on your frame, the more calories you burn at rest. The weight will fall off without working so hard.

Oh yeah, there's a ton of debate, but reps between 6 and 12 seems to be the standard on where you build muscle.
