WOW!! what progress! Keep up the good work. You've inspired me to stay with it. I'm sort of in a slump right now. But you've really motivated me. Thanks.

P.S. Tell me how you're training your legs. Your leg development is nice.

Legs? Start playing hockey when you're 5. Sorry, that's a lot of it.

Legs used to be a favorite day, but I started pushing too much weight and hurting my knees. I've backed off the weight, and concentrated on strict form, lighter weight. I don't train them often because I need the upper to catch up. However, here's usually what I do:

Squats ~185X8 three sets
Leg Press 12 platesX8 three sets
Straight legged dead lift 185X8 three sets
calves with whatever I can find, until I can't walk

Nothing special. The key is leaning out to get some definition. And strict form.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. I hope I have inspired some of you. The key is simply deciding you want it. If you really, really, really, really want it, there's nothing that can hold you back.

Oh yeah, once you really, really, really, really want it, then simply surround yourself with the tools needed. That is, don't try to go the gym on lunch break and "fit it in", or "try to eat right". You simply remove the bad food from the house, schedule your workout first thing after breakfast, and just do it. The key is SURROUNDING YOURSELF with the things that will make it happen.

A crack addict generally doesn't quit smoking crack while living in a crack house.

great analogy, Streetman. And thanks for the tips on legs. I have a bad right knee and am unable to do heavy weights on various leg exercises so good form is definately the key.
