Todd, I know you're a big advocate of HIT training, is that solely how you weight train? What about cardio? Do you switch up rep ranges or training styles periodically? I was just curious, since your results are undeniably awesome.

Yes, I train solely Max OT style, and have been for a couple of years straight now. I just feel that it enables me to make both strength gains and muscle size gains...it seems to allow for a steady gain for both of those factors, which is what I like. As well, it give me something to work towards week after week. It forces me to work harder each week, and always raise the bar, and it is very structured...and I like that. I never have to guess what I am going to do, or did before, cuz I know.
For cardio, I currently don't do any during this time. When I decide I want to get ripped for a show, I will begin to implement Max OT Cardio like I did last year...until then, I am focused on gaining as much quality size as possible. I have a very fast metabolism as it is, so I don't see the need to do any cardio. I leave my cardio sessions for the "bedroom" with my girlfriend...ha ha...that's about it.
I don't switch up my rep scheme or volume, or my workout style. I like to train as heavy as possible within a small rep range (4-6) and I use a low volume approach. I treat each rep of every set as if it were my last workout on earth. I put all my energy into a limited number of working sets and then go balls to the wall for those sets.
One thing that I have found to be somewhat of a "myth" that a lot of people believe, is that you don't need to do high repped sets in order to achieve a skin-bursting pump. I can do sets in the 4-6 rep range and feel like my muscle are going to burst thru the skin.... it's all in finding the right overload for your muscles, and working the muscles so that you can FEEL the intended muscle doing the work (intensity). This is the key to growth. That is what I have learned throughout my years, and that is what I believe has allowed me to continually take my training to the next level.
Of course knowing what to eat, how much and at what times is a BIG factor as well....and of course sleep!
Cheers!
-Todd

If I'm not prying too much into your methods, how many days a week do you workout? Do you work on a 7 day cycle or do you work muscles more often than every 7 days? What is your typical split like?
I think I have eating and rest down, but I just love toying around with my workouts.

Hey, no problem man, I don't mind giving out whatever info I can!
I train 5 days in a row usually, sometimes I will do a 3 day split as well...but it is still all Max OT style. So either way, I take 2 rest days per week.
Here is a sample of one of my favorite workout splits
Monday - Legs (quads/Hams)
Tuesday - Chest/Abs
Wednesday - Back/Traps
Thursdays - Shoulders/Triceps
Fridays - Calves/Biceps/Forearms
Saturdays - REST
Sundays - REST
...repeat cycle.

Yes, I am bulking now. Up to about 209 lbs, the heaviest I have ever been.
As for Trib, I have been taking it off and on....and right now, I am currently not taking it. I feel my system is in a very anabolic mode right now, so I feel no need for the Trib at this time.

you are the largest natural person I have ever seen bigger than alot of guys that I know are on sauce but I think you were wrong when you said that there are Natural Pro bodybuilders I don't think any exist. I also don't think you can compare a bodybuilder that is natural to one that is on juice there is no way around it more test = bigger fuller and more define depending on how much water you hold of course.
