That would be bad. When you get too happy with your accomplishment, then you stagnate. Got to stay motivated to keep getting better all the time always wanting more.

Todd got that way through 10+ years of pure dedication to diet/training/and getting it right. And I'm certain he always wanted more. That's why he looks like he does instead of looking like I do.

i'm 'happy' with my current progress but that doesn't mean i'm even close to wanting to stop, i will always want something more out of my training even if/when one day i do reach todd's level of fitness might that be increased indurence, flexibility, or weight to streangth ratio, who know's i might have othere goals by then and there for want to attemp to put on even more mass. i simply meant he should be proud of him self as i definatly would be in his shoes. todd, i look forward to seeing you progess good luck with all your fitness goals!

Thanks EliteLift, that means a lot to me. Yes, I am definitely happy with my progression...and always have been. However, on the other hand, I am always wanting to keep the progression going. I am satisfied with what I have accomplished, yet I always know there is more to be obtained with time.

You seem like you've got the right attitude to become a champion at whatever you choose to do in life....so that's awesome. All that's left for you to do is DO IT! :

Good luck with all your fitness goals as well.

You look thicker than you've been ever before... that's 100% for sure. I'd like to see some front shots.

Only critique i have is that you need to bring up your traps a little, at least from these pictures.

That last shot in the thumbnails Todd is awesome. The muscle mass in the triceps of the arm are freakishly huge! just read it's the one where you are transitioning into a pose hehe.. I think that was the perfect shot.

Another Q Todd, when you measure your thighs where abouts is the 'standard' for placing hte tape?? Mid thigh, upper or lower... thanks!

Oh and keep up the good work as it is good inspiration for all of us:

Thank you, i will try and get some front shots done sometime soon. Maybe then you can better see my trap development or lack thereof.

Thanks for the triceps compliment, they are definitely one of my stronger bodyparts.

As for where i measure my upper legs...usually right around the middle of the quads...not too high up or too low... right around the meatiest part which is usually near the center...or just a tad higher.

For back I always include dead lifts, bent rows and pullups, along with low cable rows. That is the staple of my back workout. Once in a while, if I am feeling like I have anything left in the tank, I will do a seated row machine as the last exercise of my workout.

I stick to the basics and have never strayed from that. It seems to work.

A Fun Pic From My Honeymoon!

Thought I would throw up a fun-for-all pic I took while on my honeymoon in Honolulu a few weeks back. I had to take one muscle shot during the honeymoon, or else it just wouldn't be complete! Ha ha!

Got married on July 28th, and left to Honolulu, Oahu 3 days later for 1 week's stay right on Waikiki Beach. Had a blast and did not want to leave.

Now that I am married and the honeymoon is over, it's time to focus on my training again and get my body where I want it to be for competition in 2008 sometime. Not sure what show or where I will compete, but my goal is to enter a show sometime in 2008 when I find a worthy contest to enter.

I am sitting right around 209 pounds right now and just got back to training after my 2 1/2 week lay-off of not training because of the wedding and honeymoon. It feels good to be back in the gym and stretching out those muscles!

Second pic is of me and my wife Tara on our wedding day. Enjoy.

Time For An UPDATE - PROGRESS PICS (12 weeks out)

It's been awhile since I've posted on here, so I thought I would start up again by throwing up some pics of me 12 weeks out from my April 26th bodybuilding show. I am approximately 214 pounds in these photos....down 7 pounds from 221, which was my heaviest this offseason.

These are all upper body shots, as I only had time to do these at the given time. I will post up some lower body/whole body shots very soon.

Got some fat to lose, but I've got more than enough time to do so! Let the critiques, comments, etc roll in....enjoy!
