Looking real good Todd. Cant really critique you since you already know what you're doing, but keep up the hard work none the less.

Hi Todd,
You are looking good with plenty of time for peaking and tweaking for your show.
Aside from that, you look like a younger, buffer brother of NCB Today Show host Matt Lauer.
Keep the pedal to the metal!

Thank you Todd for keeping alive the more pleasant spirit of bodybuilding. You are a class act in your goals and the path you take to get there...and it shows!

Thanks everyone for commenting and throwing out your thoughts regarding my progress. It all means a lot!
I will be posting up some lower body and whole body pics soon enough!
I haven't taken measurements of any body parts in probably about a year or so, so I literally have no idea what they are. I try not to get too caught up in the numbers game, but rather try to make my body look complete as possible.
I would guess that my arms are around 18 to 18 1/2 inches and waist is around 32". Not even remotely sure about anything else. I think taking measurements at this point would be kind of useless because I am dieting now and therefore everything will be getting smaller in size as I reduce fat storage overall.
I will keep everyone updated on my progress and post up more pics soon.
Thanks,
Todd

I agree. I think I'm going to start doing a slow cut as Maxgain said. I'm beginning to get love handles, so its time to stop the bulk for now.

That's how I am too Todd, I gave up on weight myself altogether and rather put my focus on how I look. I've been gradually leaning up just for my own sake and it's paying off I think.

Yah, I think it's important to be happy...and I know for me, it means not simply going by numbers on the scale, tape measure, etc... but rather enjoying how you look in the mirror. I think that's the best progress indicator.
I've tried going at building mass both ways:
1) Staying fairly lean and adding strength and size slowly over time.
2) Taking in a surplus of calories, and upping my strength, weight and size quickly. Unfortunately, this method does involve putting on extra fat...and having it to lose when cutting.
After going up to 221 pounds, and barely being able to see my abs, I've decided that from now on that I will take the slow but steady road to putting on new size. This will allow me to stay very lean while slowly gaining new strength and muscle over a longer period of time. I feel this way is more worth it in the end.
Just my thoughts.

I couldn't agree more Todd. Gaining cleaner strength and muscles will keep you feeling great along the way and everyone knows that saying of "slow and steady wins the race" as you're doing it for you, your well being health heart benefits etc...

I'd say other than cutting up with diet and all, you look great !! Keep at it Todd. Only thing I notice right off hand that could use a little more focus is your calves. Dont look quite proportional to your giant quads.

Yep, I agree, the calves are always something that has been lagging behind the rest of my body...my quads grow so easily, and my calves not so easily...they've been a bitch to keep on par...and I've tried various routines, frequency, etc for them. All I can do is keep at it so they can one day look inline with my continuously growing quads. Good eye!
