I've been meaning to reply too. I've seen your pictures and heard about your progress with MAX-OT. Completely inspired me to do MAX-OT. And yes I'm having amazing gains as well. I can see it now and I've only been going on it for a few weeks now.

I think you look pretty good but I don't understand all the fuss these other folks are making over you. If you want an honest opinion, not just a suck up opinion like the others seem to be giving, I would say you need to work on your abs a bit more. You are by no means fat by just seem smooth in the mid section area. I would also say work on your calves a bit more. You once posted your stats and although its hard to tell from the pictures the numbers don't seem to agree with what I am seeing.

Also, your workout routine is exactly what is posted on the AST site. It has been there for quite a long time.

In any case, you do look great and keep up the good work.

Because he looks better than any of us . Also, because he's a "real" guy that's been here for a long time and works hard for his progress and is proud of it. He's not a first time poster we know nothing about saying, "Where do I need to improve." He's a great guy that we've all gotten to know so when he posts pictures that he's happy about we all chime in to say GREAT JOB! Get it? (Not to mention he's sexy as heck )

He's said this many times and provided the link to where others can find info about it.

Fair enough, but, by just flooding him with compliments and providing no constructive critisism is not the answer. Everyone can improve and he stated that he is comtemplating entering a contest. He needs honest opinions. Nobody disagrees that he deserves credit for his hard work and he does look great but a little feedback on where he can improve will help him.

It this forum is not open for honest opinions then i am outta here.

Yeah, constructive critisism can be very helpfull, but it's nice to say congrats, the hard work is paying off, too.

I agree with jackie,(on critisism,If needed) there's ALWAYS room for improvement. Though,Todd looks great, I'm sure he'll be the first to tell you that he has some UNFINISHED business left. Personally, I like the critisism, It fuels my fire, without it, I'd probably become complacent! Anyway, Todd , Excellent work and keep the desire burning

Yes, it IS open for honest opinions and Todd will be the first to tell you that he welcomes constructive criticism. We never discourage that because the majority of the people are posting their pictures in the Before/After forum to a.) chart progress and b.) get suggestions on where to improve. Problem is, Todd knows more about lifting than a good many of us and has been doing this for a long time. I'm sure he knows his body better than any of us that just look at a picture. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but if I were to tell Todd what he should/could improve on it would be like telling my English professor how to improve his grammar. I simply don't know so all I can do here is provide encouragement. (Ok, so that encouragement is usually to "encourage" more pictures in this case ).

So, yes. Especially since he has said that he's thinking of competing, then if you know something about competition or what it takes to win, symmetry, balance, and all that jazz then, by all means, your comments are 100% welcome and encouraged. If you're like me and don't know as much about it then a good 'ol pat on the back and a "good job" works well too .

This is why I got frustrated with DarkAngels reply to my picture postings and his never ending "your arms could be bigger" posts in people's picture threads when he first got on the board. How does one that has been weightlifting for a matter of weeks/months, and has not been in the game very long critique a body that has taken a person years to develop?

If you are very familiar with the human form then it is fine to critique, go right ahead.

I think all of you are right on with has been said the last several posts!

Jackie -- Right now, if there is anywhere on my body that does have some smoothness to it or a tad bit of fat, it is on my abs. I know it is there, and the thing is, I am not too worried about that. It will all come off in January, as I start to my dieting down phase for my contest in April. It is basically the only place on my body where I have a little extra fat, but I know by experience that it can easily be taken care of with a smart calorie deficit and eating the right foods while doing this. I have well developed abs, but right now, they are “hiding” so to speak. I will post some other pics soon that I took about 2 weeks after those most recent black and whites were taken. Even in one week I was able to bring out my abs a little more than before, and you’ll see this from the pics I post soon, I just need to load the pics from my digital camera, but haven’t had the time too, as I’ve been gone on business/pleasure travels twice in the last 3 weeks.

My calves are currently over 17” and I am always striving to improve them even more. For some time now, they have been my weakest body part, the one lagging the most, so I have recently been paying more attention to them and training them first within the day they are to be trained. I made the mistake earlier on with not training them with the needed attention they require along with the rest of my body. So now, I have been playing catch up with them, not the thing to do though.

But in general, I love any criticism, even if it is mean or harsh, that is fine with me, because maybe it is a valid point and I need to look at what was said more closely. So for anyone with criticisms, go ahead and hand them out to me, I am ready and accepting of anything anyone has to say. And, of course, I love and appreciate the nice comments as well... good or bad, they both fire me up to do better and keep me doing what I love most…bodybuilding!

I look at both criticism and nice comments as being support to me, and they both help me to continually look at what can be done better and like I said before, it’s a part of what keeps me going back to the gym to always work on improving. It’s amazing to see that so many of you support my efforts with either criticism or encouragement comments, it really does make a big difference in continued motivation and aspiring to become the best I can for myself. Thank you to EVERYONE who has criticized me or commented on how I look, what needs to be done, or what you’ve noticed with my physique.

-Todd
