Your success and this thread are incredibly motivating!

Thank you very much for turning me on to the Max OT program!

I'm in week 3, training alone, and am already feeling a huge difference versus my old workout routine, with a trainer.
I see now that I was relying upon him too much. I knew that when I exhausted a muscle group, he would help me finish the reps.

The lower number of reps truly make all the difference. I'm lifting much more weight now, and no longer thinking about saving something for the 7th-12th reps.

In 3 weeks I've gone from squating 205, 2 sets of 4, up to one set at 205 for 6 and the second set at 225 for 6, with good form!

Thanks again,
Al

Sign up for the program is FREE, just fill in some general info, and then make up a username and password for yourself and you are set! It is definitely worth it. There is a lot of reading to be done in order to understand the underlying principles of their method, but it will all make sense the more you read. After signing up, read the introduction, and then continue on reading all the text in Weeks 1-12...there is TONS to read, so read it in sections spread out over time, so you aren't going crazy all at once! But believe me when I say the principles work amazingly, as long as you read it all, understand and apply them all with 100% effort...you can't and won't go wrong!

Oh, and yes, it is High Intensity training, but with certain principles to be followed. It is more or less high intensity training with a low volume approach..... low reps, low number of working sets, high weight, no wasted time or effort, it's all about overloading the muscles and forcing them to adapt and grow EVERY WEEK!!! ...all with a basic and no BS approach! Check it out!

Albear -- I am VERY pleased to hear about your amazing progress you've been making in 3 short weeks of using Max OT training!! That is simply awesome! I know exactly what you mean though, the results can be felt after the first week even, it's that result-producing of a program! I too noticed right away that I was able to blow away my old record lifts and I was actually lifting more weight than my previous top poundages..and I was lifting those new top poundages for 4-6 reps in a very short time! It's amazing how much more you can lift when you don't have marathon training sessions wearing you down, tons of reps to perform for each set, etc., which only leads to wasted time and effort in the gym. Time that should be spent in more efficient ways, getting better workouts in less time and enabling you to get home and get some quality protein and carbs in your body to kickstart growth ASAP!

Hearing about other people's success with Max OT is extremely motivating, and again it just ensures me of what I have thought all along since beginning this program....Max OT incorporates the nuts and bolts of why we are lifting weights in the first place...to make your muscle grow using overload! Max OT then takes that basic principle and outlines how to achieve continued overload upon the muscles in an easy, systematic, no BS (and MOST efficient) method!

Keep up the awesome work and continue to learn more and perfect the Max OT principles...the more you know, the more you can apply...and that means simply MORE RESULTS!!!

UPDATE: Here are my most recent pics of my first bodybuilding contest which took place on April 24th, 2004. I am in the black posing trunks during prejudging and flashy blue during the evening show. The outdoor pics were taken the following day of the show.

I captured 1st place for my weight class (light-heavy weight), then posed down with the other class winners for the Overall title and to see who would turn pro. It was a close finish, but Gary Dalton (a WNBF Pro) won the Overall, as he was in spectacular condition with lots of muscle maturity and thickeness. All in all, it was one hell of an experience and I had TONS of fun.

Here are the official results from the WNSO website. Pics of the event are soon to follow on the WNSO website, will probably take a week or so.
