cant add my picture...?

When I create a new thread and try to add a picture, I'm told that I don't have permission. Do I need to be a Premier Member or something? It also says that my account might have been disabled or is waiting activation....?

By the way, how big can the picture be? The one im trying to add is 70kb, if that is too much let me know.

Could I have some help here please?

First of all, file size limitation is 25K.

Secondly, there appears to be a software bug that will not allow you to attach pics to the first post of a new thread -- at least not until you have clicked the Submit New Thread button. Once the thread is created, you can effectively edit that first post and Manage Attachments.
  • Start your new Thread.
  • Insert whatever text makes sense, just don't Manage Attachments.
  • Click the Submit New Thread button.
  • Edit the newly created first Post and Manage Attachments.

I recommend using jasc software to reduce image sizes/quality of pictures.

Pretty much any picture editing software that'll allow you to save a file in various formats (jpg, bmp, tif) will also allow you to specify the compression ratio and/or resolution. It just takes a little bit of practice.
