Without getting too specific, I'd like to get a 1000 total @ less than 10% bf. This would probably be a 400 dead, 350 squat, and 250 bench. Right now I'm at about 350, 300, and 225 and 14-15% bf. I have my work cut out for me, but I'm confident that I can do it.

Ok...I guess I'll join in

#1 = strength - I'd like to be able to do various levers handstand presses. i.e. - Beast Skills - Tutorials for Bodyweight Feats

#2 = flexibility - I'd like to get my left hip as flexible as my right one. Been doing stretches with good progress.

#3 = endurance - I'm not sure if fits into endurance but I'd to get back into Fre Flo Do. I don't know how to exactly explain it (just google it). I would do various skill/agility drills in between short periods of jogging.

#4 = speed - a nagging case of plantar fasciitis has kept from running as much as I used to. Right now, I'd be happy to just to get back to it after enough recovery, and stretching.

#5 = balance - I'd like to be able to jump onto a stability ball and then transition into a kneeling stance and go back up with relative ease and coordination. Far fetched aspirations would have me doing a deep squat into a back flip off the ball.

#6 = coordination - On my plyo days I start off with a jumping jack matrix. I've pretty much mastered the drills except for when I jump with my legs moving transversely and swing my arms up and down in the frontal plane. Getting better, but I still get the funniest looks from people in the gym. And I guess any exercises that focus on a transfer of power from the lower body to the upper body like kettlebell/BB clean and presses

#7 = aesthetics - I'd like to get back within 180-190 lbs with 7-8% BF. Maybe do more weighted ab exercises to build them up a bit.

OK I guess I'll lay out my goals properly now...

Strength
Max Bench Press of 250. Current estimate is 225.
Max Squat of 350. Current estimate is 300.
Max Deadlift of 400. Current estimate is 350.
Also, "Linda" is very enticing. I may give it a try once I'm down to 180ish.
In the next 2 years, I plan on entering a powerlifting comp. in the 181 class.

Flexibility
I think working on my groin and hip flexibility will benefit my deep squatting abilities. It would probably be good injury prevention for soccer too. So...Maybe be able to do a split?

Endurance
I would love to get a 6:00 mile time. I'd also like to try a 5k this summer, so I want to get a more respectable time for that distance as well. Sub-23 minute 5k I guess.

Speed
Goals for this will be easier to make once I can get on a track. I'll be working on 50m and 100m sprints. Just wanna improve my times overall for those.

Balance
I'm not too worried about balance. I already get that worked pretty well with skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc. Gotta work on handle passes this summer for my wakeboarding spins. I imagine I'll be able to work the handle a lot better now with my new-found pulling strength.

Coordination
In relation to soccer: For some reason, even though I'm right footed, I can bend the ball a lot better with my left foot. I gotta figure out what I'm doing differently. All my goals this indoor season have been left-footed. Just want to improve juggling and ball skills with both feet.

Aesthetics
I'm looking to be below 10% bodyfat for the first time in my life, and then maintain it.I have my diet down perfectly right now. Currently 193 @ 13-14%, and I've been getting stronger and leaner over the past month. I think I finally have this aspect of my training figured out. And I'd also like to keep my face as beautiful as it's always been haha.

Nice detail to expand upon your initial post. I think they are all achievable with proper training. You may need a cosmetologist and a make-up artist expert to help you achieve the last one. If all else fails, there's always the brown paper bag trick.

Thanks for adding to this fun thread.

I hit my goal of a shirted bench over 400 alot sooner than I thought so I will try to hit 445 by June. I will test out my deadlift in a few more weeks. I think I still have a long way to go to 495 for that, damn short arms why can't you be longer.

Congrats Bearbait, keep moving forward.

I'll jump in the spotlight with you and post that today I accomplished one of my 2007 fitness goals. I scored 252 points on the Marine Physical Fitness Test. My goal was 250 points. Now I can concentrate on the other goals that are on my list.

If you had long arms you'd be complaining how much your bench sucks........ask me how I know

257 points this morning on my Marine PT test, the last time I'll do it this year. A +5 point improvement over last Monday.

Better start working on my flexibility goal, haven't worked that one in a while.
