Does anyone know a weight loss strategy???

Hi, I am 23 years old and have been gaining on pounds and this is getting to me. The thing is that after several efforts of exercise and dieting, I don’t seem to get any slimmer! There are many ways to lose weight, but I have exhausted all the ways I know. I have consulted a few people but all of them have been telling me the same thing. It isn’t helping me and only making my fears worse.

Is there some way to make me feel better!!!

Just keep doing this. It takes several months so don't expect miracles to happen in a week.

With more specific information, we can give you specific details.

Blossom.

For best results in your fitness journey, I suggest you start an training journal here in the Online Journal forum. You'll get great support and even greater advice for those here who have gone down (and are going down) the same fitness path as you.

Hi Blossom,

Can you tell us more about how you are eating? Post up a typical day with everything you eat and approximately when. LadyC is a nutrition whiz, and she'll be glad to help you.

Also, what is your exercise routine like currently?

Eat fresh produce and real meat only! anything that comes in a box or wrapper is not real food, (except peanuts, and meat n stuff)

And get into weightlifting... do cardio too, but weightlifting will get your mind hardcore, and definately keep you geared towards losing weight, you wont wanna quit.

The proven strategy that is as old as Man (and Woman) is to eat less calories than you utilize for the life you live.

To illustrate the point, fast for 24 hours, drink plenty of water and remain fairly active. Then weigh yourself the next day and you will weigh less.

You are not the only one having problems trying to lose weight, without any success. I know that it is very frustrating to try all sorts of things and still be in the same shape…..I too have faced that!!! Just a couple of weeks back I came across no ads please! that not only made me glad I did (I finally got a product that does the real thing) but got the work started. It has been a great way for me because it doesn’t throw up obstacles but gets the job done.
