Facilitated stretching with artificial joints

I finally got one of my clients to trust me with facilitated stretching (she has artificial hips). She's been very guarded, needed to be in control, etc. I've only had 2 opportunities (I'm moving gently and slowly) but she's slowly getting to trust me.

Giving the usual restrictions with hip replacements, does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions of possible stretches I can do as I gently expand her mind to let me perform more stretches on her. I'm respecting the biomechanical restrictions, (d'oh),....but I'm talking more,...well, emotionally I guess. Starting small. I want to respect her trust as well.

Aww, so no one here trains people with artificial joints? I get my fair share.

It's such a new deal to have her trust and I do not want to muck it up. Still hanging in there and hoping some of these brilliant DF'ers have some words of wisdom for me. She's precious to me.

I'm impressed, you have an excellent memory.

But no, this isn't her. That woman you speak of actually works in her son's restaurant, has two hip replacements, two knee replacements, and a frozen shoulder.

With so much going on, I really don't push too much facilitated stretching on her, she needs to feel in control.

However, the one I'm refering to, we've got time under the belt, and there's no reason, logically, technically or medically that I cannot do assisted stretching, but she's afraid I'll hurt her. So through demonstration of what I can only refer to as micro stretches (they barely counted as stretches) I'm working on her trust levels. She's been warned up one side and down the other about angles to avoid and she's shaved those down to the point where if I cannot get that girl stretching she's going to turn into a hermit shell.

But hey gotta admit it westy, I am impressed with your memory.
