Fookin stretch marks
I keep getting them, do they fade over time? I know you can put Vitamin E or some sheet on them and that helps but I know im not about to do that.

once you got them you pretty much have them forever... they can fade though to a point were you barely notice them... and there are random things you can do to help clear it up slightly...
strecth marks are scar tissue... and when ya got a scar... it don't go away to fast...if ever at all.. no matter what you do...

Why is everyone so concerned about stretch marks? Personally I see them as marks of improvement.

Retin-A cream or something I think. They fade down to so that what is visible underneath is the fat.
I have a friend who is quite big (in a muscular way) but has never worked out in his life who has stretch marks. Strange.

It's one thing to be concerned about stretch marks, but another to not be willing to "do" anything about them IF they do indeed bother you.
Can't have it both ways.

Well, actually I can, since its ***MY*** body and all.
I know that ill never actually put cream or anything on them.
I was just asking if they would fade significantly or not.

I would rather just have the muscle as the only mark of improvement, rather than the disgusting scars as well.

I have stretch marks on my shoulder and stomach, shoulder from growth spurt during puberty that have not gone away, and on my stomach from losing 80lbs. The ones on my stomach faded to skin color, but on one side the skin kind of rinkles and you can notice it.
Now loose skin, that is a bigger pain in the ass.

Yeah, I've got heaps of stretch marks too. They suck. I've got them on my belly, arms, back, sides, biceps, legs.. everywhere.
I've just come to terms with them, and realised that I may not ever be able to take my shirt off at the beach.

I remember reading in muscle and fitness a few years ago, that you can prevent stretch marks by
taking zinc. Often teenagers get stretch marks
when they have a growth spurt. Again, more zinc
is needed in the diet.
I dont know how true any of that is and it was
a long time ago I read it, however, it would be
worth looking into if you are concerned with getting new stretch marks.
Good luck
Donna

I have stretch marks all over my bicep and some under my tricep close to my armpit. I started developing them when i was in middle school. They were red as hell just like fresh scratch marks. Now they are all white and faded into my skin but you can still see them. I also have a few on the outside of my upper chest. I don't think they will ever go away. It doesn't realy bother me. I guess you just have to take the hand you are dealt.

Are you serious? You make stretch marks seem like hideous scars. I went fishing yesterday and got my first tan of the summer. Either you are real insecure or, your stretch marks are realy that out of control.
