Cool

Goodbye to 50 Pounds

Hello, I apologize for the blatant self-proclamation, but I am very
happy and proud of myself and if I say nothing, I'm going to burst.
Today, I checked the scale at my doctor's office and have officially
lost 50 pounds. I have gone from 233 to 183. I owe it all to DANCING.
I love to dance but my weight has kept me from feeling
comfortable enough to attend parties and clubs. Then,
I discovered Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation II ($200).
It made dancing easy and fun. After 1 hour a day for 86 days,
here I am. Still, I'm not satified or done, I've just started aerobics and lifting.
Believe it or not, I do both to a $15 dance music video dvd
I bought online. For me, it helps. Next weekend, I plan
on going (with my new body and warddrobe) to a club for
the first time since highschool. Eventhough it may not work for
everyone, I was able to literally save my life for a little
over $200, and believe me, it's worth it!!!!!

Oh yeah, for those who want to know.

Yep, it has been brought up before. I'm a fan of that game myself, though I can't play it at home much due to all the noise it makes.

Cardio you enjoy is always a good thing.

That's a great method that I stumbled onto after going dancing for the first time in years.

Too bad DDR is outrageously gay.

" ... outrageously gay ..."? Now that's a subjective opinion if I ever heard one.

Congrats on your fat-loss there alwhite! Hey, whatever worx!

It's called humor, maybe you've heard of it.

I guess it's all in the delivery delivery of the 'humor'. In a forum the simple text can certainly be interpreted in several different ways (including, as an insult). I'm glad you were joking.
