Question

Having a negative effect?

For about 6 months I have been doing max OT cardio 3 times a week. (high intensity 16 minute sessions.)

I have started playing football again recently (soccor) which I play once a week instead of one of the max ot cardio sessions. Therefore, my weekly cardio looks like this:

tuesday: 16 min high intensity
Thursday: 16 min high intensity
Saturday: 90 min medium intensity

All other days I do weight training. I was wondering if the amount of cardio I now do in a week will have an impact on my gains with weights. I feel my diet is good, but am thinking about dropping one of the max OT sessions to compensate for the longer saturday session.

Any thoughts?

Richard.
