Question

Home Gym - stationary/recumbant bike

I am looking for a quality exercise bike for home. I am a 'gym' regular doing cardio and weights as a normal regiment (Muscle & Fitness RHC). But, coming into winter, I do have a harder time making myself GET to the gym, so would like to augment my 'home' gym with a quality cardio machine.

I am lucky in that I can walk a block to my sis & bro-in-law's to use an endless pool or a 'marathon training quality' treadmill. But, I have nothing like this at my house and would like another option - at home.

I would spent upto $1k. Any suggestions on a make/model? On the flip side, I am considering just buying a road bike (more $$) and also getting a 'trainer' for home - it would give me another 'summer' fun activity. Can you tell I'm a little out of sorts with this?

I don't have any recommendations but for $1K you can definately find a quality bike! I have a stationary bike at my house and I like it alot..I ride my bike alot in the summer so it's a good alternative for the winter.
